“VOOL LMC Basic” is an external power meter that communicates with a VOOL charging station and dynamically manages its power. The device supports up to 64 stations, making it suitable for both individual home stations and commercial needs. It helps distribute the incoming power in such a way that the electric vehicle is not charged more than the power it currently uses. The device's reaction time is <50 ms.

Example:
If 14 kW of power is supplied to a house. An electric vehicle starts charging at the station's maximum power (e.g., 11 kW), while simultaneously a washing machine, kettle, and air conditioner are turned on, the instantaneous power demand of which exceeds 3 kW. If the home’s input power limit is exceeded, the machine turns off, and the house loses power.

To avoid power supply disruptions when charging an electric vehicle, it is recommended to use a dynamic power controller that would automatically reduce the station's power if other priority electrical appliances are being used at the same time.
